Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have taken a significant step towards enhancing their collaborative efforts in the fields of research and knowledge exchange by signing a memorandum of understanding. The agreement was finalized in Riyadh between the King Fahd National Library and the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies.
This memorandum is designed to facilitate the exchange of scientific and knowledge-based resources. It includes provisions for sharing information and documents, as well as organizing visits by researchers and specialists from both nations. The collaboration aims to foster stronger ties between the two countries’ research institutions and national libraries.
In addition to resource sharing, the agreement outlines plans to conduct joint seminars, workshops, and conferences. These initiatives are intended to support research activities and promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise. The memorandum also emphasizes the development of training programs, further enhancing the cooperation between these two Gulf states.
