The Saudi Arabian Cabinet has denounced the recent attacks by Houthi forces on civilian and economic sites in several cities, including Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran. These incidents have been labeled as acts of aggression by the government, which has reiterated its commitment to protecting its sovereignty and ensuring the safety of its citizens and residents. The Cabinet also voiced its disapproval of Houthi assaults on commercial vessels and international maritime navigation routes in the Red Sea.
In these attacks, more than 70 individuals, including women and children, sustained injuries across various Saudi cities. In response, authorities have been instructed to offer the highest standard of medical care to those affected. The Saudi government is taking these aggressive actions seriously and is actively pursuing measures to safeguard its people and territory.
During the Cabinet meeting, which was chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah, discussions also centered on developments in the Palestinian territories. The ministers reviewed Arab efforts to counter Israeli actions in Jerusalem and the expansion of settlements, focusing on maintaining regional stability.
The meeting also highlighted the Crown Prince’s recent dialogues with leaders from Egypt, Greece, and Oman. These discussions were part of ongoing efforts to strengthen diplomatic ties and regional cooperation amid a complex geopolitical landscape.
Additionally, the Cabinet welcomed the establishment of a strategic dialogue between the Saudi and German foreign ministries. This agreement aims to enhance consultation and coordination between the two nations, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and dialogue on critical issues.
