Saudi FM Talks Mideast Crisis Resolution with Iran, Pakistan Leaders

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan recently engaged in discussions with his Iranian and Pakistani counterparts to address ongoing regional issues, according to a statement from the Saudi Foreign Ministry. In separate phone calls, Prince Faisal explored the latest developments with Iran’s representative, Abbas Araghchi, focusing on the diplomatic talks currently taking place between Iran and the United States, which involve Pakistan’s mediation efforts.

The conversations highlighted Pakistan’s active role in facilitating dialogue between Iran and the US, aiming to ease tensions in the region. During his call with Iran’s Araghchi, Prince Faisal examined how these mediation efforts are progressing and evaluated the broader diplomatic engagements between Tehran and Washington.

Prince Faisal also reached out to his Pakistani counterpart, Ishaq Dar, reinforcing the discussion on Pakistan’s intermediary role. Both officials reiterated their commitment to diplomatic solutions as a means to ensure regional stability, underscoring the significance of supporting initiatives that contribute to peace and security.
